The AIS-2-USB is a Dual Channel Parallel synthesized AIS receiver designed specifically for the Leisure Marine and Fishing Boat market. It enables boats sailing in busy shipping lanes, to receive AIS (Automatic Identification System) information being transmitted from Class A transponders as fitted to vessels over 300 tons, and non-mandatory Class "B" transponders as fitted to small commercial and leisure craft. Connected to the USB port of the PC the AIS-2-USB
is powered from the port and transmits AIS data via
USB to PC Plotter. This means that the unit is so simple to
install and setup, no need to wire to any seperate 12 volt
supply. Also ideal for delivery skippers as the unit is easily
transportable between vessels. The AIS information is then
displayed on screen giving the skipper a visual interpretation
of the vessel, name, position, course and speed of vessels
within VHF range. This unit will allow display of all of the
Search and Rescue helicopters as well. |

The AIS-2-NMEA is a Dual Channel Parallel synthesized AIS receiver designed specifically for the Leisure Marine and Fishing Boat market. Connected to PC Plotter, the information can be displayed on screen giving the skipper a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range. This includes all of the Search and Rescue helicopters as well. This unit might require a USB-Serial convertor if your PC does not have a spare serial port. |

BNC "Rubber Duck" antenna for use with the above AIS units if requiring a portable unit or without having to use an antenna splitter to use the VHF antenna. Length 170mm. Fits directly to the BNC connector on the AIS units shown above. Frequency received 70-500Mhz and the AIS frequencies are 161.975 MHz and 162.025 MHz |

The AIS-MULTI is a combined
AIS Dual Channel Receiver and Antenna Splitter all The unit is powered by the boats 12/24VDC supply. The signal from the Antenna is amplified before being shared by the VHF Radio and internal AIS Receiver, thus ensuring minimum insertion loss. AIS information received can be displayed
on PC Plotter using the USB port AND the information can be
shown on a compatible built-in chart plotter like Raymarine,
Lowrance etc. using the NMEA 0183 output. The unit also includes
an Antenna splitter to make installation quick and simple.
Just remove the VHF antenna from the back of the VHF Radio,
connect it to this unit and connect the cable attached to
this unit to the back of the VHF Radio. Reception on the AIS
Receiver and the VHF Radio is now possible simultaneously.
AIS reception will be blocked for the short periods when you
are transmitting on the VHF Radio. Internal amplifier ensures
negligible receiver insertion loss. This unit will allow display
of all of the Search and Rescue helicopters as well.

The CSB200 is a low cost AIS transponder, designed specifically for the Leisure Marine and Fishing Boat market. It meets the new Class "B" standard that allows vessels that are not required to fit Class "A" units to voluntarily fit an AIS transponder. It enables boats sailing in busy shipping lanes to automatically transmit their current position, course and speed to other vessels and shore stations within VHF range. Connected to PC Plotter, information received from other vessels or shore stations can be displayed on screen giving the skipper or navigator a visual interpretation of the name, position, course and speed of vessels within VHF range. This includes all of the Search and Rescue helicopters as well. PC Plotter is also able to directly configure this unit with specifically designed software for this purpose to make it easy to install, configure and use. |

The ASR 100 is designed
to be used with any AIS Receiver.
Installation is quick and simple with interconnecting
cables supplied to link the AIS Receiver and the VHF to the
ASR 100. Reception on the AIS Receiver and the VHF Radio is
now possible simultaneously. AIS reception will be blocked
when you are transmitting on the VHF Radio. |

The AST 100 Class
B AIS VHF Antenna splitter is designed to simplify installation
of the CSB 200 Class B Automatic Identification Systems (AIS).
The unit removes the need for a separate
VHF antenna allowing a single antenna to be shared with a
VHF radio. This VHF antenna splitter has been specifically
designed for use with two transmitting devices and has the
added capability of an additional FM radio connection. |
