Minimum Specification:

• Operating system
  • Microsoft Windows 98 SE/ME (limited features)
  • Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0 or later (limited features)
  • Microsoft Windows 2000 (limited features)
  • Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
  • Microsoft Windows Vista (any 32 bit version)
  • Microsoft Windows Vista 64 (runs in compatibility mode)
  • Microsoft Windows 7 or 8
  • Apple Macintosh (requires Parallels Desktop and been tested with latest version of PC Plotter)
• Processor
  • Pentium 500MHz or better
• Memory
  • Minimum of 1Gb
• Ports required
  • 1 free Serial Port or USB port is required for connection to the GPS. (PC Plotter is able to supply a USB to Serial converter if a 9 or 25 way serial port connector is not available on your laptop and your GPS has a 9 or 25 way serial connector).   • 1 free USB port (or parallel port) for PC Plotter security key (PC Plotter is able to supply interface cables or a USB to Serial converter)
  • For AIS a further serial port or USB is required OR the Comar AIS-2-USB only requires a USB port.

Linking to GPS/ NMEA/ AIS
